Privacy

SweetSlot is built to collect as little as possible. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies.

What we store

• Participants: the name you enter, an optional organisation, and your answers to the poll.
• Organisers: the poll content you enter (title, location, description, dates) and, optionally, your name and organisation.
• Pro organisers who turn on email updates: the email address entered for that poll. It is only used to send updates about that poll, is never shown to participants, and is deleted together with the poll.

What stays in your browser

Your browser keeps the keys that let you edit your own votes or manage your polls, plus your name for next time (local storage). Nothing in it is sent to third parties. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data.

What we don't store

IP addresses are held in memory for up to one minute to prevent spam and are never written to disk or logs. We don't store email addresses of participants, and we don't use third-party fonts, scripts or embeds.

Pro purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We only keep a record that a Pro key was issued; we never see your card details and don't store your email.

Sponsors

The free version shows a sponsor message at the bottom of the page. It is served from this server and does not track you. If you click it, you leave this site.

Deleting data

Participants can remove their own votes on the poll page. Organisers can remove any participant or delete the whole poll, which deletes all its data immediately.
